Position Overview

Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and support strategic financial planning. To align with our structural team requirements, we are looking for an Indian or Pakistani national currently residing in Dubai with a strong background in commercial or industrial accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations: Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) entries, and perform monthly/annual closing activities.
• Compliance & Tax: Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations and ensure adherence to IFRS.
• Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow forecasts while assisting with external audits.

Required Qualifications & Selection Criteria

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience (UAE market experience preferred).
• Nationality & Residency: Indian or Pakistani national currently residing in Dubai, UAE.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo), advanced Excel, and a deep understanding of local tax laws.
