Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented QA/QC & Materials Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to manage and lead the ISO Quality Management System Standards on a Construction Supervision Team performing services for an well known developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing leadership for development and implementation of design and construction Quality Control Programs, procedures, resource allocation, and training.

• Providing leadership for Quality Control support activities for assigned program (s) or projects (s) to ensure that products or services provided are IAW customer and Parsons requirements.

• Qualifying, training, certifying and supervising all Quality Control activities on the project.

• Interacting regularly with client, program and project management teams; interacts with Parsons Quality Assurance and executive management.

• Inspecting contractor work & Training other Inspectors.

• Writing, Issuing and following up on Non-Conformances and generating Logs and Reports.

• Managing all documentation related to Materials acceptance/handling (in coordination with the project controls department & site management.

• Scheduling and performing Quality Audits and logging all issues and corrective actions.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.

• More than 12 years of related work experience.

• Marine Engineering / Dredging & Land reclamation experience.

• Analysis and Problem Solving.

• Creativity and Innovation.

• Communication Skills - written and oral (English).

• Computer Skills (Office 365 Full suite).

• .Work Planning, task management and setting of priorities skills

• Self Starter - this position requires self motivation to engage the contractor directly and coordinate the necessary work/activities.

• ISO 9000 Quality Management Knowledge and Skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Bluebeam Revu / AutoCAD software experience.

• High English proficiency in writing.

• "Can-Do" attitude to work within a highly dynamic team composed of Construction Supervision Specialists.
