Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prepare & check the required list of documents for different submissions
  • Prepare and follow up correspondences with authorities and related departments
  • Coordinate with government authorities for clarifications, justifications, and approvals by statutory authorities
  • Supervise the document completion process to be submitted as required by the local authorities on behalf of the organization
  • Liaise and coordinate submissions, revisions and issuing processes for utility approvals, including Wastewater, Water, and Irrigation systems permits. It includes other relevant permits such as Power, Telecom, Gas, district cooling and civil defense
  • Obtaining Town Planning Department, utilities and building approvals and permits for infrastructure projects (i.e., submissions, revisions & issuing process)
  • Represent RIC for permits and approvals status meetings with all stakeholders. i.e., owners, clients, PMC, consultants & contractors
  • Coordinate between office & site team. Provide responses for all staff queries on daily basis regarding local standards and local updated requirements
  • Be familiar and know how to deal with authorities’ programs, systems & online procedures
  • Identify and present the statutory process requirement for each project to be implemented in projects programs
  • Monitor & control statutory approvals status through weekly standards matrices, reports & charts


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public relations or Communications
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a construction background
  • Knowledge of the standards and codes used by the local authorities
  • Able to work discretely and deal with confidential information
  • Have good contacts with officials in the key government departments in UAE
  • Strong communication and reporting skills in English & Arabic
