Fuelled by passion, KAYALI was founded in 2018 by beauty mogul and fragrance fanatic, Mona Kattan. Translating to ‘my imagination’ in Arabic, KAYALI provides a modern fragrance experience inspired by Mona’s rich Middle Eastern heritage and the art of layering scents to help you create your mood; where sharing scents is a ritual and smelling good is both an act of goodwill and self-love. Mona collaborates with some of the world’s most renowned perfumers and sources the finest ingredients to create unique juices that are infinitely memorable, long-lasting, and cruelty-free. Each luxurious fragrance is an ode to true craftsmanship and tells a special story, from the addictive notes to the multi-faceted jewelled bottles.

PRODUCER

Role Summary

• Plans, produces and directs KAYALI’s in-house shoots from approved briefs through to finished assets.
• Produces social, brand, market, e-commerce/PDP and retailer content.
• Reports to Senior Production Manager and works closely with Creative, the camera team, editors and retouchers.

Responsibilities

• Turns approved briefs into detailed shoot plans, shot lists, shoot schedules and call sheets.
• Coordinates with Art Director/Jr. Art Director on approved visual direction.
• Arranges locations, talent, props, set dressing, styling and hair and makeup as required.
• Identifies crew, equipment and specialist support needs, coordinating bookings and cost approvals with Senior Production Manager.
• Briefs contributors and ensures products, samples and production materials are ready.
• Produces and directs on set, ensuring all required shots, formats and deliverables are captured.
• Manages shoot-day logistics, timing and troubleshooting.
• Provides editors and retouchers with clear instructions, selects, references and shoot notes.
• Reviews finished assets against the approved brief for product accuracy, messaging, storytelling and required versions.
• Works through consolidated feedback supplied by Senior Production Manager.
• Coordinates with Mona Producer on shared shoots, with one designated shoot lead.

Requirements

• Proven experience preparing and delivering branded video and photography shoots from pre-production through post.
• A portfolio demonstrating hands-on producing and on-set directing, including talent direction.
• Strong skills in shot lists, call sheets, scheduling, casting, locations and crew coordination.
• Ability to manage several shoots at different stages and solve problems under pressure.
• Understanding of social content, product imagery and channel-specific deliverables.
• Ability to brief editors clearly and assess finished work against an approved brief.
• Beauty, fragrance, fashion, luxury or lifestyle production experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and resourcefulness; UAE production contacts are advantageous.
