We are seeking for a Mechanical Design Engineer well experienced and expertise in Buillding serive / high rise residential and commericial tower projects. He / She will be required to work with a team to develop the successful projects through clear strategy and proactive commitment.

• Performing design calculations for optimization and compliance of applicable standards and codes.
• Efficient review of Mechanical systems design (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Drainage, Water, LPG)
• Ensure that purposed designs are following the latest energy efficient design criteria.
• Propose alternative design solutions to render the projects viable and within allocated budget.
• Provide technical assistance to concerned departments, liaison with Architect, Structural engineers, and site visits (whenever required) to support the project team.

Specific areas of anticipated technical skills include

• Have a good knowledge of buildability & construction techniques.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
• Strong attention to detail, team working, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors
• Strong software capability and proficiency in IES, HAP, Hevacomp, AutoCAD.
• Excellent knowledge of local and international design standards, BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA etc
• Excellent knowledge of local statutory authorities’ regulations and submission requirements across Middle East, mainly, UAE ,Dubai

Qualification

• Bachelor’s in building services / Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered member of an internationally recognized professional body (e.g. CIBSE, ASHRAE)
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Middle East
