Mira Group is seeking an exceptional Head of Legal to lead the Group’s legal function and provide strategic, commercially focused legal leadership across its businesses and development activities.

This is a senior leadership position for a high-calibre lawyer with significant development experience, ideally someone who has worked closely with real estate, property development, construction, investment, joint ventures, acquisitions, financing and complex commercial transactions.

The successful candidate will not simply act as a legal adviser. They will be expected to operate as a business partner to the leadership team, identify legal and commercial risks early, structure transactions effectively, protect the Group’s interests and build a scalable legal function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all legal matters relating to real estate development and investment.
• Advise on land acquisitions, development structures, JVs, investments and financing.
• Lead negotiation of major development, construction and commercial agreements.
• Manage legal due diligence for acquisitions and investments.
• Oversee disputes, claims and external legal counsel.
• Advise the CEO, Board and senior management on legal and commercial risks.
• Build and lead an effective in-house legal function.
• Establish strong legal governance, contracts and risk-management processes.

• Strong, hands-on real estate development experience is essential.
• Proven experience with major development projects, acquisitions, JVs and investments.
• Strong construction and commercial contracting experience.
• Experience handling complex negotiations and disputes.
• UAE/GCC experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to advise CEOs, Boards, shareholders and investors.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and commercial judgement.
• Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Qualified lawyer with a recognised legal qualification/bar admission.
