We are representing a leading Bank in the UAE, who are looking for a Head of Islamic Products. This role will cover CIB, Private, and Retail banking.
Job Description:
This role requires someone with an exceptional understanding of Islamic Finance, and strong experience in product development. The successful candidate will also have recent management experience.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new development opportunities for Islamic Banking products
- Collaborating with other internal teams to ensure that Islamic Finance products are complying with Sharia principles.
- Head up the sales/ marketing effort for Islamic banking products (developing material, and overseeing sales efforts)
- Managing the commercial feasibility of Islamic products/ services, ensuring profitability.
- Managing a team, and supporting their performance.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of total relevant experience
- Most recently in a management position
- Bachelors degree as a minimum
